In the course of the project performing, the conception, structural and principal schematic of the tester for testing of solid-oxide fuel cells with zirconia ceramic electrolyte as well as technical documentation and technical-economic assessment have been designed.
The prototype of the testing module TM52-08 as the most important tester unit has been developed and manufactured. It designed for fuel and oxidant feeding of a fuel cell and taking off electrical energy under high temperature, oxidant and reducing atmosphere conditions. Experimental operation of the testing module in IPM NAS of Ukraine approved its reliability and functionality.
The prototype of high-temperature unit HU-700 as a part of the tester has been developed and manufactured. It insures start heating of a fuel cell up to 700 0С, maintenance of the certain cell temperature, performing of thermal cycles for estimation of fuel cell material functionality. Special software HT TESTER for PC controlled operation of the HU-700 unit in automated and long-term mode has been developed.
The prototype of the automated electrical loading unit ELB-50 of the fuel cell tester has been designed and manufactured. It provides measuring and controlling such electrical parameters as potential, current, power and current density. Special software ENERLOAD for PC controlled electrical loading of fuel cell and experimental data acquisition has been developed.
